 International Ice-skating championships

This event is the only world competition organised by an association, Nice Baie des Anges, to rank in the International Skating Union Calendar!
The international championship features high level teams from all the major skating countries, individual and couple events, young hopefuls and established champions alike.
 Challenge International de lutte Henri Deglane
November 2010
All-in, Greco-Roman and "Sambo" wrestling. Approximately 20 nations and represented at each edition.
Henri DEGLANE was the first French Olympic Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, he largely contribued to the development of wrestling in Nice and the South of France.

 Star International regatta
December 2010
Initiated and organised by the "Club Nautique de Nice" this international competition is reserved for the Star olympic series. Each year high level teams compete in this event in the
Baie des Anges against a backgroung of snowy mountains.

 The Paris-Nice cycling race
March 2011
The Paris-Nice cycling race, the first classic in the racing season, takes place mid-March each year. Great cycling names such as e Bobet, Anquetil, Merckx, Poulidor, or Indurain excelled themselves here.
On this 1200 km course flat and mountain stages alternate. The 7th and last stage goes around Nice to finish on the Promenade des Anglais.
